Landor House, Smith Street, Warwick Landor House stands at almost the top of Smith Street, next to the town's East Gate. It was built just before the Great Fire of Warwick in 1692-93.[1] It was formally called Eastgate House and was once the home of Walter Savage Landor. A road named Landor Road was built at the Cape in the 1930s. In 1949 it was proposed that the building be converted into a community centre.[2]
